Serangan al-Qassam Keatas Bank US Berjaya

Akhirnya serangan DDos terhadap beberapa bank US dan Zionis, yang dijalankan oleh Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters menggunakan kod Operation Ababil, telah dihentikan buat sementara. Keputusan ini dibuat berikutan penarikan balik keatas video yang menghina Islam " The innocence of Muslim" oleh Youtube.

Walaupun hanya satu salinan asal yang telah disekat dan banyak lagi salinan yang terdapat di laman tersebut, pihak hacktivis menghargai usaha tersebut dan menggantung serangan cyber yang seterusnya.

Serangan tersebut berhenti secara mengejut ketika berada di kemuncaknya: sejak dua minggu lepas gelombang serangan DDos telah mencapai tahap yang tidak pernah berlaku sebelum ini dimana 35 serangan berlaku keatas 25 buah bank. Serangan yang jelas tidak dapat ditangani dan amat dramatik menunjukkan kelemahan sistem bank tersebut.
